Subscribers have full exchange privileges!

Need to come at a different time? Just e-mail your request to tickets@newrep.org, or call the Box Office at 617-923-8487 no later than 6:00p.m. on the day before your scheduled performance, and we will be happy to exchange your tickets for you. Exchanges to an equal or lower priced performance are free. If you move to a more expensive night, an $8.00 upgrade fee will apply.

Subscriber "missed performance insurance," or exchanges with less than 24 hours notice: If you missed your performance, or you find out on the day of the show that you cannot make it that night, don't worry – you can still see the show, as long as it hasn't closed.  An exchange fee will apply to all exchanges under this insurance privilege: For Mainstage shows in the Charles Mosesian Theater, there is a fee of $5.00 if you exchange into a night with an equal or lower price, and $13.00 fee if you exchange into a more expensive night.  For Downstage @ New Rep shows in the Black Box Theater, there is a fee of $3.00.

Subscribers: Follow these easy steps to exchange your tickets!

    • Determine the date and time when you cannot attend.
    • Using the performance calendar in your Subscriber Handbook, select an alternate date and time when you want to attend.
    • Call the Box Office at 617-923-8487, or e-mail tickets@newrep.org. Tell us the last name and the phone number the subscription was purchased under; your phone number (if different); the date and time on your current tickets; and the date and time to which you want to change. Be sure to mention any special seating needs, including friends you would like to sit with.
    • Once the exchange is complete, mark your old tickets as “invalid.” Bring them with you when you come to the theater, and we will have your new tickets waiting for you at the Box Office on your new date.
    • If you e-mail or leave a voicemail, we will return your message as soon as possible.

All ticket exchanges are subject to availability. Remember that some shows sell out and have limited performance dates, so the sooner you can submit your exchange request, the more likely we will be able to accommodate you.
