Dear New Rep Friends:

Kate Warner, New Rep's new Artistic Director, has planned an amazing season for us this year, but we need your help to make it all happen and to meet a $75,000 Challenge Grant! 

To kick off our Fall fundraising efforts and to help us ramp up for the season, Michael McCay (former Board Chair) and Dan Salera (Advisory Council Chair) put forth a challenge grant of $50,000.  The Boston Foundation heard about this challenge and offered another $25,000.

Through leadership gifts from New Rep's Board of Directors and Advisory Council we raised $40,000, and in the first week of the public campaign, we raised an additional $11,670 towards the match. We only have $23,330 to go! All gifts received before the end of September will help us meet the Challenge and will be matched dollar for dollar.

"My partner Dan and I immediately wanted to play a major role in the growth of New Rep after seeing the world premiere production of MOBY DICK, an AMERICAN OPERA," said Michael McCay.  "Walking into the old home in Newton Highlands, we were a little skeptical, but were quickly swept up by the charm and intimacy of the theatre, the warm and inviting staff, and the incredible artistry on stage.  We're so pleased that the feeling of being a part of something magical lives on in New Rep's new home at the Arsenal Center for the Arts.  We are looking forward to the future with Kate as our artistic leader and the inspirational journey she plans for all of us at New Rep."
